En cuanto a la estructura, se proyectó en metal para poder lograr mayor luz y espacios libres, limpios y traslúcidos, dando el soporte necesario al gran peso del techo verde. La casa se levanta del terreno a través de su estructura, ganando mejores vistas. Todo se potencia con una terraza en L, que recorre la casa en casi todo su frente y va paralela al bosque; por debajo, un sauna permite observar el rico follaje del suelo boscoso. Se privilegió el uso de maderas recicladas: de laurel en las puertas y enchapes de cocina, de galpones y cercos sureños en puertas de muebles y recintos de madera. A metal structure was designed to achieve greater spans and open, clean and translucent spaces, giving the necessary support to the great weight of the green roof. The structure lifts the house off the ground, gaining better views. An L-shaped terrace reinforces the layout, running along almost the entire front of the house and parallel to the forest; from the underneath sauna, the rich foliage of the forest floor can be contemplated. The use of recycled wood was favored: laurel wood in doors and kitchen veneers, and pieces from southern sheds and fences in furniture doors and wooden enclosures.
