A 30 años de que se fundara como un taller colaborativo, el estudio noruego Snøhetta se ha posicionado como una respetada “marca” de arquitectura internacional. Con Oslo como centro de operaciones y presencia en varios países, es responsable de obras innovadoras y sorprendentes, como la Biblioteca de Alejandría en Egipto o un hotel circular en el Ártico. Fue una de las oficinas visitadas por la AOA durante la Misión Escandinavia 2018, donde pudo observar su original metodología creativa. De eso conversó el comité editorial de Revista AOA con Peter Girgis, interiorista senior del estudio. Una conversación abierta, relajada y “cercana”, aunque separada por 12.700 km. Justamente porque en Snohetta no se ponen límites. Thirty years after being founded as a collaborative workshop, Norwegian studio Snøhetta has positioned itself as a renowned “brand” of international architecture. With Oslo as a center of operations and presence in several countries, it is responsible for innovative and surprising works, such as the Library of Alexandria in Egypt or a circular hotel in the Arctic. It was one of the offices visited by the AOA during the 2018 Scandinavian Mission, where the Association was able to observe its original creative methodology. This was discussed by the Editorial Committee of AOA Magazine with Peter Girgis, senior interior designer of the studio. An open, relaxed and close conversation, although separated by 12,700 km. Precisely because Snohetta has no limits.
