Fundada en 1998, la Asociación de Oficinas de Arquitectos de Chile (AOA) es una organización sin fines de lucro que agrupa a las oficinas de arquitectos del país, procurando su inserción en una economía global y transformando a sus asociados en una contraparte confiable para la comunidad nacional e internacional, con un sello de calidad y ética profesional. A través de esta publicación, la AOA quiere consolidar su compromiso con el desarrollo de proyectos que contribuyen responsablemente con la evolución de nuestras ciudades, invitando a sus socios a exhibir obras que promuevan el debate y la reflexión que implica este desafío, dando cuenta al mismo tiempo de las múltiples oportunidades que brinda el avance de la tecnología. La AOA está conformada por más de 160 oficinas de arquitectos, responsables de parte importante y representativa de los proyectos de arquitectura chilena actual. Founded in 1998, the Architectural Office Association of Chile (AOA) is a non-profit organization that brings together the architectural offices in the country, seeking their inclusion in a global economy and converting its members into a reliable supplier within the domestic and international community, with a seal of quality and professional ethics. Through this publication, the AOA wishes to consolidate its commitment to the development of projects that responsibly contribute toward the evolution of our cities, inviting its members to exhibit works that generate debate and the introspection that this challenge poses; giving an account, at the same time, of the multiple opportunities provided by technological progress. The AOA consists of over 160 architectural offices responsible for an important and representative part of today’s architectural projects in Chile.
