La casa se desarrolla principalmente a partir de dos volúmenes, de uno y dos niveles, retranqueados de la calle, que configuran una fachada más hermética hacia el espacio público, procurando privacidad y, a su vez, una mayor apertura al interior. Como partido general, la propuesta se expresa mediante su simpleza en dos grandes aspectos. El primero es el patio interior, cobijado y propio, donde está la llamativa palmera, la cual otorga vitalidad y convierte este espacio en el corazón del lugar. Es en este patio donde es posible apreciar y controlar visualmente todas las actividades desarrolladas en la casa y sus distintos usos: living, comedor, cocina y servicios, por una parte; estar familiar y dormitorios, por otra.
The design is based on two volumes of one and two levels set back from the street, with a closed facade towards the public space in order to seek privacy and, in turn, a greater openness towards the interior. As a main concept, the proposal manifests its simplicity through two main aspects. The first is the inner courtyard, sheltered and private, with the strikingly vital palm tree that makes this space the heart of the house. From the courtyard it is possible to visually appreciate and control all the activities and different functions of the house: living room, dining room, kitchen and services; and family lounge and bedrooms.
