A pesar de la hermeticidad del volumen de acceso y, por ende, a la orientación norte, cuenta con una lucarna que aporta luz a las áreas comunes y de permanencia. De igual forma, al proponerse el segundo bloque en dos niveles, los dormitorios del nivel superior están dotados de buenas vistas e iluminación gran parte del día. El inmueble se plantea desde criterios estructurales simples: hormigón armado en el primer nivel y una estructura liviana de acero en el segundo, con materiales y texturas pétreos y sobrios, capaces de incorporarse adecuadamente y sin mayores pretensiones en su contexto residencial, de viviendas de uno y dos pisos y tipologías convencionales. Despite the closedness of the entrance volume –and therefore, lacking northern exposure– a skylight illuminates the common areas and lounges. Likewise, as the second block has two levels, the bedrooms on the upper level enjoy good views and lighting for much of the day. The building is designed with simple structural criteria: reinforced concrete on the first level and a lightweight steel structure on the second. Stone and other restrained materials and textures are able to adequately and modestly integrate the house into the residential context of one- and two-story homes with conventional typologies.

El siguiente aspecto lo constituye la implantación de la obra en el terreno, esto es, su distribución en dos grandes áreas o volúmenes: una pública, que corresponde a los accesos, servicios y comedor; y otra más íntima y cuidada, al interior, en cuyo primer nivel se ubican el estar familiar y el quincho, y en el segundo, tres dormitorios y servicios. Ambos sectores se hallan concadenados por un pasillo cubierto y cerrado pero panorámico, de 13 m de largo, que en su recorrido conecta las actividades familiares interiores y exteriores.
The next aspect is the placing of the building on the site, that is, its distribution into two large areas or volumes: a public one, corresponding to the entrances, services and dining room; and another one inside, more intimate and tended, with the family lounge and the barbeque on the first level, and three bedrooms and services on the second. Both areas are linked by a covered and closed but panoramic 13 m long corridor, which connects the inner and outer family activities.
