La topografía del terreno presenta un desnivel importante entre la calle y el antejardín, característica que se aprovechó para crear un ascenso indirecto y solemne hasta la puerta de la casa. The site topography presents a significant slope between the street and the front garden, a feature that was used to create an indirect and solemn ascent to the door of the house.

Este desnivel eleva la planta base de la edificación, haciéndola parecer más alta de lo que realmente es. La casa niega la vista hacia el sur y se vuelca casi totalmente hacia el norte, donde se encuentran las mejores panorámicas hacia los cerros y desde donde se obtiene la mejor iluminación natural. This slope raises the base level of the building making it look taller than it really is. The house rejects the views to the south and turns almost completely to the north, towards the best natural lighting and panoramic views of the hills.
