El proyecto está ubicado en Avenida Arturo Prat frente a la rotonda de Cavancha en la ciudad de Iquique, en un sitio muy angosto y largo con un gran frente al mar. Desde el punto de vista del partido general, el proyecto tiene un desarrollo lineal donde todas las habitaciones y la parte más importante del programa se desarrollan con vista al mar. The project is located on Arturo Prat Avenue, in front of the Cavancha roundabout in the city of Iquique, on a very narrow and long plot with a large oceanfront. The main concept is a linear development where all the rooms and the most important elements of the program are designed with an ocean view.

El edificio está compuesto por un sencillo volumen semicircular al cual se le agregan y restan otros volúmenes, generando ciertos vacíos que interrumpen la geometría del cuerpo central e introduciendo 'tajos' de sombra durante el día y de luz durante la noche. También se agregan volúmenes que identifican zonas específicas del programa, tales como salones de eventos y la zona de spa y piscina en el último nivel. La puerta de acceso al hotel se diseñó como un gran pórtico situado en el eje de la pileta de la rotonda de modo de acentuar el espacio interior del lobby.
The building is composed of a simple semicircular volume to which additional volumes are added and subtracted, with cuts that interrupt the geometry of the central body and introduce gaps of darkness during the day and light at night. Specific areas of the program, such as the event halls and the spa and pool area on the top level are contained in added volumes. The entrance door to the hotel was designed with a large portico placed on the axis of the roundabout pool, in order to accentuate the interior space of the lobby.
