Welcome!
We are proud to welcome you to our 44th Annual Production Sale. We sincerely appreciate your interest in our program and truly value the friendships we have built over the years. We are also excited to wel- come new customers and look forward to the opportunity to work with you. It’s an exciting time to be in the cattle industry — and rightfully so. Dedicated cattlemen and women are finally being rewarded for years of hard work and commitment to raising quality beef. While we live in an age of rapidly advancing technology, ever-evolving EPDs, and more data than ever before, we view these tools as just that — tools. They help guide our decisions, but they never replace the fundamentals. We continue to prioritize visual appearance, structural correctness, fleshing ability, disposition, and practical performance that helps our customers earn top dollar. At the end of the day, our ultimate goal is a cow- herd that looks right, functions right, and stands the test of time. One of the reasons we love what we do is the cowherd itself. There’s something special about looking out over a set of broody, sound, good-uddered Angus cows with big calves at their sides. It brings a sense of peace and pride, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see the progress made over the past years. This year’s offering truly represents the heart of our program. You’ll find many half-brothers and flush brothers selling, providing a great opportunity to build a uniform calf crop. We are also pleased to offer a strong set of calving ease bulls that still bring plenty of performance, muscle, and eye appeal. The females offered this year are productive cows that have worked well for us but fall outside of our de- sired calving window. A breeding supplement sheet with expected due dates will be available on sale day. Most are due in April, and the group ranges from three- to five-year-olds. As always, customer service is our top priority! Your support means more to us than words can express. If you would like to visit the ranch to view the sale bulls or our cowherd, please don’t hesitate to call — we would truly enjoy your visit!
One thing you can always count on when you stop by: the coffee will always be hot, and there is a good chance something sweet will be coming out of the oven. Sincerely,
The Carlson Family
