HABITAR EN PENDIENTE: INFRAESTRUCTURA ADAPTABLE PARA LAS QUEBRADAS DE VALPARAÍSO TO INHABIT THE SLOPE: ADAPTABLE INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THE RAVINES OF VALPARAÍSO Alumnos Students: Diego Hamilton, Flavia Raglianti Profesores guía Tutors: Juan Baixas, Mario Carreño Pontificia Universidad Católica La propuesta busca solucionar el problema de urbanización de las quebradas de Valparaíso, en este caso la quebrada La Rinconada, entre el cerro Pajonal y Las Cañas. Se proyecta un edificio de vivienda, replicable, que concentra las edificaciones en puntos determinados, liberando el resto de la superficie de la quebrada para un parque público. De esta forma se incorporan programas que respondan a la carencia de servicios y actividades recreativas, con el fin de establecer un orden en la quebrada y su puesta en valor. El edificio recoge la configuración actual de asentamiento del lugar (viviendas individuales que se acomodan en la ladera siguiendo la pendiente) y se adapta a las distintas pendientes por medio de una rotación en planta de su total. El último nivel en el fondo de la quebrada acoge el programa comunitario conectado con el parque. Asimismo, el edificio es el elemento conector entre el nivel calle y el eje de la quebrada a través de una circulación principal que funciona como acceso a las viviendas. The proposal seeks to solve the problem of urbanization of the ravines of Valparaíso, in this case La Rinconada, between Pajonal and Las Cañas hills. A housing building is designed to be replicated, concentrating construction in certain points, clearing the rest of the surface of the ravine for a public park. In this way, programs that respond to the lack of services and recreational activities are incorporated, in order to establish an order in the ravine and enhance its value. The building collects the current settlement configuration of the site (individual dwellings that follow the slope) and adapts to the different slopes by means of the rotation of the floor plan. The last level at the bottom of the ravine hosts the community program connected to the park. Likewise, the building is the connecting element between street level and the axis of the ravine through a main circulation that works as entrance to the houses.
