Dear Cattlmen, It is an honor to once again be involved in the marketing of the Lonely Valley Seedstock genetics. This year the Settje Family will celebrate their 45th year propagat- ing Limousin genetics. This February sale is their 35th consecutive bull sale which makes it one of the longest running family seedstock sales in the Limousin breed. The Settje name is well-thought of throughout the cattle industry as both Dean and Chad have served as past North American Limousin Foundation Presidents and are very much involved in the cattle feeding industry. The family cattle operation start- ed with Stan Settje and his sons acquiring a few purebred Limousin genetics and incor- porating them into their commercial cattle program. As time went on they quickly

realized growing it into a Limousin seedstock operation was the right path moving forward. The program grew to one that could easily sustain a 70-90 head bull sale every year. Under the LVLS umbrella are Limousin, Lim- Flex, Angus, and Red Angus genetics. Their integrity and levelheaded approach to customer service has kept them going strong for 45 years as a serv- ice-oriented business. Please join the Settje Family and all the marketing team at this event as we know you are sure to be impressed with the strong sale offering. If we can be of assistance, be sure and let us know and we thank you for your continued interest in the “LVLS” brand. Sincerely, Randall O Ratliff R&R Marketing Company
