El espacio exterior que construye el edificio es igual o más relevante que el interior. Se propone una gran explanada de todo el largo de la manzana, un vacío de dimensiones urbanas delimitado por los edificios municipales que se preservan y que este nuevo espacio urbano pone en valor. Un gran suelo que conecta desde la calle Pedro de Valdivia hacia el poniente atravesando el interior de la manzana sobre la calle Marchant Pereira conectando calle, vereda, antejardín, ciclovía y plaza. The exterior space that gives shape to the building has equal or higher relevance than the interior. The large proposed esplanade runs along the entire length of the block, a void of urban dimensions bounded by the municipal buildings that are kept and at the same time enhanced by this new urban space.
