Placa: a la manera de un plinto pone en valor las construcciones cargadas de historia y simbolismo, reuniéndolas en el mismo nivel con el aulario. Debido al desnivel natural de la topografía, esta operación permite disponer un piso base que organiza el resto del programa de manera horizontal facilitando un fluido sistema de conexiones. Biblioteca, auditorio, oficinas, administración y estacionamientos funcionan conectados en este nuevo nivel. Disposición de volúmenes: el edificio principal de la Dirección constituye la imagen histórica de la Academia de Guerra. El nuevo edificio de aulas, sintético y silencioso, se dispone paralelo como la única nueva construcción sobre la Placa. Ambos delimitan el Vacío, el nuevo Patio de Formación. No existen otros volúmenes aparentes, solo el aulario, que toma sus proporciones del edificio principal. Slab: acting as a plinth, it enhances the buildings loaded with history and symbolism, bringing them together on the same level with the classroom. Due to the natural slope of the topography, this operation allows a base floor that organizes the rest of the program horizontally facilitating a fluid system of connections. The library, auditorium, offices, administration and parking are connected in this new level. Placement of volumes: the main Directorate building constitutes the historical image of the War Academy. The new classroom building, synthetic and silent, is arranged parallel as the only new construction on the Slab. Both define the Void, the new Training Courtyard. There are no other apparent volumes, only the classrooms, which takes its proportions from the main building.
