A mediados de 2010 se levantó la trocha ferroviaria liberándola para nuevo uso. Con sus 4.000 m² ofrecía una gran plataforma elevada con vistas a la dinámica vida urbana de Rotterdam. La habilitación y restauración final de la cubierta se inició el 2015, buscando entregar un nuevo espacio al aire libre. Aporte adicional fue la conexión del edificio con el puente Luchtsingel a través de una pasarela de madera de 360 m que pasa por la Estación Central de Rotterdam, Pompenburg, la Puerta de Delft y la estación Hofplein. A lo largo del paseo hay jardines, tiendas y escuelas que han dado nueva vida a la zona. In mid-2010 the rail tracks were lifted, opening the former railway to new use. With its 4,000 sqm it offered a large elevated platform overlooking the dynamic urban life of Rotterdam. The rehabilitation and final restoration of the roof began in 2015, seeking to provide a new outdoor space. An additional contribution was the connection of the building with the Luchtsingel Bridge through a 360 m wooden footbridge that passes through the Rotterdam Central Station, Pompenburg, the Delft Gate and the Hofplein station. Along the promenade there are gardens, shops and schools that have given new life to the district.
