Tras Brasil (2016) y Argentina (2017), Colombia es el tercer país abordado por el ciclo de Revista AOA dedicado a conocer y analizar el desarrollo de la arquitectura moderna en Latinoamérica. El equipo liderado por Hugo Mondragón, académico y arquitecto colombiano radicado en Chile, inicia el recorrido con este primer artículo que explica las condiciones en las que llegó el movimiento moderno al país y se examina un conjunto de ocho obras excepcionales, una de ellas diseñada por un arquitecto chileno a comienzo de los años 60. After Brazil (2016) and Argentina (2017), Colombia is the third focus country AOA Magazine will present in its cycle dedicated to learning and analyzing the development of modern architecture in Latin America. The team led by Hugo Mondragón, a Colombian architect and professor based in Chile, begins the journey with this first article that explains the conditions in which the modern movement landed in the country, and examines a set of eight exceptional works, one of them designed by a Chilean architect in the early 60s.
