Los cinco primeros pisos son de uso público. El primero está destinado a la atención de público, el segundo al Centro de Atención del Adulto Mayor (Centro DIA), el tercero y cuarto a los afiliados y pensionados –con salones, talleres, piscina temperada, cafetería, etc.–, mientras en el quinto hay dos auditorios que se comparten con las oficinas administrativas, situadas en los cuatro pisos superiores. Cuenta con dos niveles de subterráneos. Todas las fachadas se diseñaron con un revestimiento opaco de color neutro que se integra al contexto urbano y con una proporción del 50% de aperturas para regular la entrada de luz y radiación solar, evitando sobrecalentamientos innecesarios. La trama regular de aperturas de fachadas se altera levemente en los primeros cinco pisos, dando cuenta de los diferentes programas, dobles alturas y singularidades espaciales. La planta de los tres primeros niveles ocupa todo el terreno, por lo que se disponen vacíos y patios de luz de doble y triple altura para llevar luz natural al centro de las plantas, acompañados de muros verdes. En los pisos superiores los espacios de trabajo se sitúan en los perímetros.
The first five levels are for public use. The first one is destined for customer service, the second to the Elderly Customer Care Center (DIA Center), the third and fourth to the affiliates and pensioners –with lounges, workshops, heated pool, cafeteria, etc.– while in the fifth two auditoriums are shared by affiliates and the administrative offices located on the four upper floors. It has two underground levels. All the façades were designed with an neutral color opaque cladding that integrates into the urban context and with a 50% proportion of openings to regulate the entry of light and solar radiation, avoiding unnecessary overheating. The regular pattern of the façade openings is slightly altered in the first five floors, reflecting the different functions, double heights and spatial singularities. The floor plan of the first three levels occupies the whole site, with courtyards and voids of double and triple height bringing natural light to the center of the floor plans, featuring green walls. In the upper floors the work spaces are placed along the perimeter.
