Funcionalmente el edificio fue concebido como dos edificios independientes, que se conectan a través del primer piso y nivel cubiertas por medio de sus áreas comunes. Cuenta con dos núcleos verticales independientes que sirven a cinco departamentos cada uno. Destaca la propuesta hecha por los arquitectos de desarrollar departamentos dúplex de uno y dos dormitorios, donde ambos pisos se conectan con el dormitorio principal mediante vacíos en sus estares. Las áreas verdes y su relación con el entorno son muy relevantes y se conservaron todos los árboles preexistentes, muchos de los cuales se mantuvieron en su lugar original. Los estacionamientos se ubicaron en su mayoría en los subterráneos, liberando el primer piso solo para áreas verdes y circulaciones peatonales. También se incluyeron estacionamientos para bicicletas, pertinente en una comuna que promueve su uso. Las fachadas se diseñaron bajo el concepto de eficiencia del asoleamiento. El uso de aislación térmica en los muros exteriores perimetrales, a través de sistema EIFS, termopaneles y cristales Low E en las fachadas vidriadas ponientes, permitió reducir al mínimo la pérdida de calor o sobrecalentamiento según clima. Functionally the building was conceived as two independent buildings, which are connected at the first and roof levels by their common areas. It has two independent vertical cores that serve five apartments each. The architect’s proposal to develop duplex apartments stands out, with one or two bedrooms, and where both levels are connected to the main bedroom by means of void spaces in the living rooms. The green areas and their relationship with the environment are very relevant and all the pre-existing trees were preserved, many of which were kept in their original place. The parking lots are located mostly in the underground, liberating the first floor only for green areas and pedestrian traffic. Parking for bicycles was also included, relevant in a district that promotes its use. The facades were designed following the concept of sun exposure efficiency. The use of thermal insulation in the outer perimeter walls with the EIFS system, double glazing and Low E crystals in the glazed façades to the west, made it possible to minimize heat loss or overheating according to the climate.
