LA PROPUESTA
1 LIBERACIÓN ESPACIO INTERIOR
El proyecto final consiste en brindar a las viviendas atributos que anteriormente no tenían, como espacios amplios, integración de la cocina al estar-comedor, dormitorios con zonas de guardado, terrazas con contacto al exterior, mayor y mejor iluminación, más baños, etc. En cuanto al asoleamiento, la búsqueda formal del edificio está estrictamente ligada al ángulo de giro de la nueva arquitectura del bloque, donde se corrige el asoleamiento del edificio para lograr que los cuatro departamentos afectados tengan radiación solar de manera más equitativa. La propuesta supone dos sub proyectos: el de ampliación, que modifica y mejora el departamento original del bloque, y el de densificación, que consiste en agregar dos pisos al bloque con una nueva estructura para más departamentos, en total 12 loft unifamiliares.

THE PROPOSAL
The final project gives the units certain features they did not previously have, such as large spaces, integration of the kitchen to the living-dining room, bedrooms with storage areas, terraces with external connections, more and better lighting, more bathrooms, etc. As for the sun exposure, the formal search of the building is strictly linked to the angle of rotation of the new architecture of the block, where the building’s sun exposure is corrected to accomplish a more equitable solar radiation for the four affected apartments. The proposal involves two sub-projects: the expansion, which modifies and improves the original apartment of the block, and the densification, which consists of adding two floors to the block with a new structure for more apartments, in total 12 single- family lofts.
