NUEVO MERCADO MUNICIPAL DE TEMUCO NEW MUNICIPAL MARKET OF TEMUCO Alumno Student: Camilo Aspeny Profesor guía Teacher: Gonzalo Verdugo Universidad Mayor Temuco La obra nace de la necesidad de restituir el incendiado Mercado de Temuco en tiempo acotado y rescatando la fachada original. El proyecto recoge ambas demandas como base para el desarrollo arquitectónico, con una solución constructiva que permita prefabricar el 96% de la estructura. El interior evoca las naves industriales de los primeros mercados de la ciudad, homologando en una misma condición espacial y bajo techo todo el comercio. The work is born from the need to restore the fire-damaged Temuco Market in limited time while recovering the original facade. The project tackles both demands as a basis for architectural development, with a constructive solution that allows prefabrication of 96% of the structure. The interior evokes the industrial warehouses of the first markets of the city, gathering all the commercial activities in a single sheltered spatial condition.
