Entre las copas de los árboles, las vistas hacia la cordillera en sus distintos momentos y condiciones hacen que un segundo piso en esta esquina tenga una especial condición sobre el paisaje. Simultáneamente, el cuidado de la intimidad de los dormitorios en este nivel (expuestos hacia dos calles) condiciona el uso de una piel permeable y practicable según se necesite. El terreno y la aplicación de la normativa permitieron emplazar un área compacta y regular en tres niveles con superficies equivalentes, incluyendo un subterráneo. Desde abajo hacia arriba: servicios, espacios públicos y espacios privados forman una construcción sintética y tranquila. El exterior del primer nivel es la expansión del uso de los interiores. Piscina, terraza,
quincho, zaguán en doble altura, patio inglés y estacionamientos limitan con el borde de la arquitectura de los cierres. El ladrillo pintado blanco remite a la historia de las construcciones del barrio en su austeridad y nobleza, mientras el segundo nivel es oscuro y neutro como una mansarda en un techo que se funde en el paisaje de las cubiertas. Among the treetops, the views towards the mountain range at different times of day and the year give the second floor of this street corner plot a special condition over the landscape. Simultaneously, concern for the privacy of the bedrooms in this level (facing two streets) leads to the use of a permeable and practicable skin.
The plot and the application of the planning regulations led to the design of a compact and regular volume with three levels of equivalent footage and a basement. From bottom to top, the service areas, public and private spaces create a consolidated and calm construction. On the first level the exterior spaces are an extension of the interior. The swimming pool, terrace, barbecue, double height hallway, a light court and the parking spaces organize the design of the border walls. The white painted brick recalls the history of the buildings of the neighborhood in its austerity and nobility, while the second level is dark and neutral, a mansard roof that blends into the landscape of the neighboring rooftops.
