La decisión de no poner pilares en las circulaciones peatonales logra que el vacío central adquiera mayor amplitud, destacando la continuidad y apertura. Las losas en volado refuerzan la presencia de los locales y sus vitrinas. Solo destacan como elementos icónicos estructurantes del recorrido las dos escaleras rojas que rompen la horizontalidad e invitan a subir a los pisos superiores, visibilizándolos. La estructura del edificio corresponde a hormigón armado en base a pilares, vigas y losas, estas últimas con grandes volados y escaleras metálicas.
The decision to have a column-free pedestrian circulation makes the central void seem wider, emphasizing continuity and openness. The cantilevered slabs reinforce the presence of the shops and their display windows. Only the two red stairs structuring the circulation appear as iconic elements breaking the horizontal dimension, highlighting and inviting to tour the upper floors. The structure of the building is in reinforced concrete based on columns, beams and slabs, the latter with large cantilevers and metal stairs.
