El teatro se posiciona constituyendo el canto del sitio hacia el agua como un nuevo espacio público. El nuevo espesor configura la plaza de acceso, el teatro y la plaza del lago, circundado por el paseo peatonal que integra una nueva marina, y la costanera. El sistema de plazas que circunda el volumen compacto hilvana un espesor público que integra los árboles existentes, los muros del paseo y las vistas del sitio sobre el lago. El proyecto se entiende como un volumen compacto que comprime el programa y sus relaciones en un volumen monolítico, macizo y de potente identificación. La compacidad volumétrica permite a su vez incorporar el patrón urbano de la arquitectura del lugar, cuerpos sencillos y silentes que articulan una potente relación con el paisaje y la topografía, comprimiendo su volumetría para disminuir la envolvente y ser más eficientes energéticamente. El uso de la madera también se relaciona con el lenguaje valioso del contexto. The theater is placed to define the edge of the site towards the water as a new public space. The new thickness creates the entrance square, the theater and the lake plaza, surrounded by the pedestrian path that integrates a new marina, and the waterfront promenade. The system of squares that surrounds the compact volume combine a public span that integrates the existing trees, the walls of the walk and the views of the site over the lake. The project is understood as a compact volume that compresses the program and its relations in a monolithic volume, massive and with a powerful image. The volumetric compactness allows to incorporate the urban pattern of the architecture of the place, simple and silent volumes that articulate a powerful relation with the landscape and the topography, compressing its form to diminish the envelope and to be more energetically efficient. The use of wood is also related to the valuable language of the context.
