El terreno disponible para el proyecto, por lo reducido y acotado de sus dimensiones, implica necesariamente trabajar con un proyecto acotado y contenido. Es por esto que todo el programa se dispone dentro de un único volumen, con una imagen patrimonial y al mismo tiempo contemporánea, que alberga tanto al Teatro de las Artes como a los programas de apoyo y espacio público. La orientación del volumen principal apunta al lago, ubicándose perpendicular a la costanera. Al mismo tiempo se propone una plaza pública cubierta en el centro del conjunto que mira en el sentido perpendicular, proyectando la costanera que viene desde la playa hacia el humedal. El remate de este recorrido lo constituye el anfiteatro flotante al aire libre, que se plantea para una 2ª etapa. En una 1ª etapa esta plaza funcionará como espacio de encuentro y como mirador a la ciudad de Panguipulli. Se aprovecha el desnivel natural del terreno para crear un piso zócalo que contiene el programa de servicio del teatro (bajo el escenario), bodega de botes y camarines. El nivel principal coincide con el nivel de la costanera y el nivel de los servicios con el nivel de la playa.
The site available for the project, due to the small size and dimensions, necessarily involves working with a limited and contained project. That is why the entire program is placed within a single volume with a patrimonial image, but at the same time contemporary, which houses both the Theater of the Arts, the supporting programs and public spaces. The orientation of the main volume points to the lake, perpendicular to the waterfront. At the same time, a covered public square is proposed in the center of the complex, looking in a perpendicular direction, as an extension of the coastal promenade from the beach towards the wetland. The end of this circulation is the outdoor floating amphitheater, proposed for a second phase. Initially this square will function as a meeting space and as a viewpoint towards the city of Panguipulli. The design takes advantage of the natural slope of the site to create a base level that contains the service program of the theater (under the stage), boat storage and dressing rooms. In this way the main level coincides with the level of the border promenade and the service level with the level of the shore.
