SIEMBRA RIBERA. PARA EL DESARROLLO DE UNA CIUDAD SENSIBLE AL AGUA RIVERSIDE PLANTING. TOWARDS THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CITY SENSITIVE TO WATER Equipo Team: Boza Wilson Arquitectos (Cristián Boza Wilson, Silvia Zamagni) + Consultora Geoneyen (John Treimun) + Magíster Territorio y Paisaje UDP (Claudio Magrini, Pedro Pedraza, Cristián Seguel) + Temporal Arquitectos (José Meza, Daniel Venegas, Cristóbal Piñones). El jurado destacó en esta propuesta la vocación de "reconectar los sistemas fragmentados de agua y vegetación en la cuenca para hacerlos funcionar como los principales creadores de ecosistemas (…). Estas conexiones se logran revelando las grandes estructuras del paisaje (más allá del río) que tienen relación con la ciudad, una aproximación pertinente a la realidad local". Metodológicamente el proyecto se articula como un cuadro de doble entrada; por un lado, los criterios territoriales provenientes del estudio de las cuencas; por otro, la caracterización del río desde la evaluación de paisaje, que permitió la identificación de cuatro unidades paisajísticas principales: - Subsector Desembocadura - Subsector Parque residencial urbano - Subsector Deportivo-educativo - Subsector Nueva zona residencial. The jury noted in this proposal the vocation for "reconnecting the fragmented water and vegetation systems in the basin to make them work as the main creators of ecosystems (…). These connections are achieved by acknowledging the large structures of the landscape (beyond the river) that are related to the city, a relevant approximation to the local reality". The methodology of the project is structured as a double-entry matrix; on one hand, the territorial criteria pertinent to the study of the basins; on the other, the characterization of the river from a landscape analysis point of view, which allowed the identification
of four main landscape units: - The river mouth subsector
- The urban residential park subsector - The sports-educational subsector - The new residential area subsector.
