El recorrido al acceso se propone a través de una caminata por la meseta. El giro da cuenta de la llegada al atrio-explanada que acoge el acto de estar y enfrenta el volumen de la capilla canasta y sus programas asociados. El contenedor hace referencia al agaseke , tipo de canasta elaborada por las ruandesas tras el genocidio del 94 y que simboliza la reunión y reconciliación: el zig-zag de su diseño representa la unión de dos brazos femeninos. Realizado en madera nativa, el esqueleto del proyecto alude a la estructura del canasto y la membrana que lo cubre da cuenta de un espacio de luz divina. Jugando con la permeabilidad, sobre el altar ingresa mayor cantidad de luz, que se hace más tenue en la fachada trasera. The project seeks to embody an identity and represent the winding path between the farming terraces. The access route is a promenade on the plateau. The turn announces the arrival to the atrium- esplanade that embraces the act of being and faces the volume of the chapel and its associated programs. The container refers to the agaseke , a type of basket made by the Rwandans after the genocide of '94 and which symbolizes reunion and reconciliation: the zig-zag of their design represents the union of two feminine arms. Made of native wood, the skeleton of the project echoes the structure of the basket and the skin that covers it reveals a space of divine light. Playing with permeability, light bathes the altar, and becomes more tenuous towards the rear façade.
