Para conseguir albergar en un solo espacio laboral integrado la totalidad de los 510 puestos de trabajo en no más de dos pisos intercomunicados, la barra edificada se extendió en toda la longitud disponible del terreno, y sus 203 m de largo corresponden a la distancia máxima caminable espontáneamente a fin de mantener la unidad espacial interior y no generar edificios diferentes conectados entre sí. Diez patios intercalados a lo largo del edificio aportan luz natural a las circulaciones; junto a los vacíos de doble altura frente a cada una de las cinco escaleras, interrelacionan las dos plantas de oficinas y dan ritmo al espacio interior en las cuatro secciones longitudinales que componen la unidad. El edificio-zócalo de un piso, abierto a una galería techada hacia el poniente, alberga en su lado sur próximo al acceso una planta de laboratorios y una bodega general; en su parte central, un patio con una cancha de tenis; y en su lado norte, una multicancha deportiva o salón de eventos techado de doble altura, adaptada a la topografía, un gimnasio, y baños y camarines de hombres y mujeres. Un segundo edificio-zócalo de un piso contra el terreno, también de hormigón, alberga el casino y forma con su techo-jardín una terraza en la salida norte del edificio principal. To be able to contain in a single integrated work space the entire 510 work stations in no more than two interconnected floors, the bar extends throughout the entire length of the plot, and its 203 m length corresponds to the maximum natural walking distance, in order to maintain the inner spatial unity and not generate different interconnected buildings. Ten courtyards interspersed throughout the building provide natural light to the circulations, and in conjunction with the double-height voids in front of each of the five stairs interrelate the two office floors and give rhythm to the interior space in the four longitudinal sectors that make up the unit. The one-story base building –open to a covered gallery towards the west– shelters in its south side a set of labs and a general storage room close to the entrance. Its central part features a patio with a tennis court. Its north side, a double height covered multi- sport field or event hall that adjusts to the contour of the land, a gym, and bathrooms and dressing rooms for men and women. A second one-story base volume built into the ground is also made of concrete. It houses the canteen, and a terrace on its roof-garden at the north exit of the main building.
