Junto con este rol funcional, la doble piel asume la representatividad del edificio. El manto semitransparente unifica los distintos elementos de fachada y, en una propuesta unitaria, controla la radiación solar, tamiza la luz y acentúa el volumen crucero. En su diseño reconoce la particular ubicación y espacialidad del proyecto, y en una solución de continuidad con distintas respuestas formales se hace cargo de las diversas situaciones de los bordes del edificio. Along with this functional role, the double skin addresses the image representation of the building. This semitransparent mantle unifies the different façade elements, controls solar radiation in a comprehensive manner, filters natural light and accentuates the cruise-ship appearance. Its design recognizes the particular location and spatial condition of the project and provides specific solutions to respond to the different neighboring situations surrounding the building while preserving continuity.
