• Avoid direct sunlight and excessive heat. It’s recommended to stay indoors for 1 week. • Begin washing your face two times a day with lukewarm water and UltraCalming Cleanser. • Apply Pro Restore two times a day after cleansing skin then apply a thin layer of healing ointment to keep skin moist. • You may take a shower and wash hair, avoiding hot water. • Itchiness can be relieved with a mix of distilled water and vinegar (tiny amount) dabbed on with a cotton ball, as well a small amount of the healing ointment throughout the day to relieve itchy skin and to keep it from drying out. • Itching usually subsides, and skin has mostly peeled. • You may start more active washing with gentle cleanser twice a day. • Continue to apply Pro Restore immediately after cleansing and let it absorb before applying SPF. • Use non-irritating physical sunscreen SPF 30+ with zinc oxide and/ or titanium dioxide when going outside such as Invisible Physical Defense SPF 30 . *Skin will dry out quickly, so it is recommended to apply a healing ointment as needed to keep skin moist throughout the day. • Continue to apply Pro Restore every night until skin has hydrated back to its normal level, approximately 3-4 weeks. • You can restart brightening creams or serums 4 weeks after the treatment to continue to minimize hyperpigmentation. • Continue applying a physical sunscreen of SPF 30+ and using mineral makeup (powder) to protect treated areas (do not use liquid foundation as it may clog pores and irritate new skin). • You may return to exercise.
