TRIPLE CROWN AWARDS
REIGNING SUPREME: ese Solution Providers Take e 2023 Crown
By Rick Whiting
S olution providers have experienced some serious head- winds in recent years, including the pandemic, supply chain disruptions, surging inflation and never-ending predictions that a recession is just around the corner. Despite all these roadblocks, many solution providers have succeeded in growing their business, both organically and through acquisitions. They have expanded their technology and— especially—their service offerings to meet customers’ changing needs around cybersecurity, hybrid work practices and more. And they continue to broaden their expertise in leading-edge technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning. CRN publishes a number of solution provider lists and rank- ings throughout the year, including the Solution Provider 500, the largest solution providers operating in North America by revenue; the Fast Growth 150, ranking the fastest-growing solu- tion providers; and theTech Elite 250, a roundup of solution pro- viders that achieve the highest partner levels and certifications from leading IT vendors. Each year a number of solution providers accomplish the im- pressive feat of making all three lists. This year 42 solution pro- viders, profiled on the following pages, achieved that trifecta to become the 2023 class of CRN Triple Crown winners. Evotek, Solana Beach, Calif., made the Triple Crown list for the sixth time—one of just three solution providers to do so. The company reached nearly $500 million in revenue in 2022,
its eighth year in business, thanks to its emphasis on providing high-value advisory services rather than selling IT products. “Our customers will come to us with an issue or a problem, and a lot of times what we tell them is instead of buying new stuff, let’s look at what you have,” Evotek founder and CEO Cesar Enciso told CRN in May. “You might have a beautiful Palo Alto [Networks] platform, but you’re only using 20 percent of it. Let’s stop there and let’s just go and figure out what we can turn on.That approach has been so fundamentally different. Because with almost all integrators, the way salespeople make money is just by selling new stuff. We reward our folks [on] advisory ser- vices; we reward our folks for doing the right thing.” Winslow Technology Group, Waltham, Mass., is also making the Triple Crown list for the sixth time. The company has en- joyed rapid growth thanks to surging annual recurring revenue among its core customers, with cybersecurity offerings leading the way. Ntiva, McLean,Va., is the third channel company mak- ing the Triple Crown list for the sixth time. In addition, three companies are making the list for the fifth time:ANM,AqueductTechnologies and Logically.Among the 16 newcomers to the list are BlackHawk Data, Dataprise, Intelligent Technical Solutions, New Era Technology, Right Systems and Tego.
