Bill Birnie, President/CEO OMG! I was beginning to think that June Gloom would never go away! Summer is finally here! How can you not love summer? The beach, barbeques in the back yard and all sorts of activities you can do on glorious sunny days. That’s another reason I love summer. Sunny days save me money – lots of money. OK, so here’s the deal… I bought my house right at the end of 2009. Everything in the house is electric – even the water heater. The average electric bill for the previous owner was $650 a month! It didn’t take me long to move into action and our new solar energy system was put into service in May 2010. Since that date, in total, I have paid less than $600 for electricity. Through the savings of nearly $650 each and every month, my solar energy system has paid for itself in just 9 years! BTW, did you know we do Solar Loans?
