Happy New Year from your Junior Activities Committee! The committee members and staff leaders of our junior sports and activity programs have been planning and working to implement new initiatives to meet the interests and needs of the club’s growing youth population. Approximately 1,300 children between three and thirteen years of age, and an additional 600 adolescents aged fourteen to seventeen, comprise our resident youth membership. We are working towards a comprehensive and inclusive juniors program where there is not only something for everyone, but rather numerous options and opportunities for our youth. Stay tuned for information about our first-ever teen night out coming up on Saturday, 1 February. Rainbow City, our supervised children’s activity center, provides preschool- and school-age children with a safe and stimulating social and play environment on a drop-in basis, as well as before- and after-care during summer camp. We want to ensure that all of our families are familiar with Rainbow City and have the opportunity to utilize this warm and wonderful facility. We have developed a survey to help us determine how and when members prefer to utilize Rainbow City, and why some members currently do not use the facility. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey – available by clicking here . We would greatly appreciate your responses and honest feedback.
