Biola Chancellor is Wed to Biola Imissionary , n F ebruary 5 t h at 2 P.M., a pretty wedding took place at the President’s home on the La Mira­ da Campus. The happy couple united in marriage by Dr. Samuel Suther­ land were our own Chancellor, Dr. Louis T. Talbot, and our missionary, Miss Carol Terry. Miss Terry’s bro­ ther, George, gave the bride away; Mrs. Charles Svendsen (Dr. Talbot’s older daughter Audrey) was matron of honor and her husband, the Rever­ end Charles Svendsen, was best man. Mrs. Gerald Foster (Dr. Talbot’s younger daughter Betty) who flew here from Denver for the occasion, played a medley of hymns: “ Saviour, Like A Shepherd, Lead Us,” “Hiding in Thee,” “ Great Is Thy Faithful-

Mrs. S. H. Sutherland, as the gra­ cious hostess, had the home beauti­ fully decorated with appropriate flor­ al pieces and served refreshments in­ cluding the traditional wedding cake. Following the ceremony, the Talbots left for a wedding trip. Guests included: Mrs. George Ter­ ry, two of Dr. Talbot’s grandchildren, Charles and Elisabeth Svendsen, Mrs. John MacArthur, Dr. and Mrs. Ray A. Myers, Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Jacques, Miss Connie Versluys, and Miss Lillian Doerksen.
