In a world where the distance between us seems to shrink daily while the chasm between humanity and God becomes increasingly prominent, I’d like to share an inspiring perspective from my vantage point here at Global Media Outreach. God is stirring up revival in new and exciting ways among people of all ages, backgrounds, languages, and locations. As our Gospel messages traverse the digital landscape, they’re not just crossing borders—they’re infusing the love of God into the deepest recesses of hungry souls, many of whom live in hard places, fraught with socioeconomic, geopolitical, and cultural turmoil. From the bustling metropolises of Europe to remote villages in Africa, from college students gathering on US campuses to brilliant engineers working in the Middle East, messages from GMO are traveling farther and being shared faster than ever before. This past year, almost 25 million people indicated a decision for Christ through this ministry. Our campaigns are not only reaching out to people who’ve never heard the Gospel. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, they’re reaching in and becoming catalysts for life-long transformation and discipleship. This year marks two decades since GMO was founded by Walt Wilson, who envisioned the internet as a modern-day vehicle to share the Good News of Christ in every corner of the globe. Since then, the world has seen tremendous technological change. Yet the human heart remains the same—a dwelling place made for the Spirit of the Living God. When I reflect on the cumulative impact of Walt’s vision (see page 11 of this report) brought to life by our generous donors and tireless volunteer Online Missionaries, I’m overwhelmed by God’s goodness, miraculous involvement, and the power of revival to sweep through people groups everywhere.
This report will take you on a worldwide tour of the eternal transformation made possible by our giving partners, supporters, and volunteers. Although we can’t possibly share them all with you, the waypoints along our journey all point to God’s call for every believer to join the revival and chart new territories of faith, trust, and courage. With gratitude and anticipation for the journey ahead,

TOUR STOP 2
FINDING SALVATION IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA Our Online Missionaries for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region offer weekly virtual discipleship groups and church meetings for those interested in learning about new life in Jesus. These gatherings take place in secret to protect those who live in areas hostile to the Christian faith. Our Arabic discipleship group has 1,150 individuals coming together, but three years ago we had none! Last year, over 400,000 people with a Muslim background reached out to chat with Online Missionaries in the Middle East and North Africa. Over 90% of them never had a conversation with a Christian before. In August, we witnessed an entire family from Iraq—a husband, wife, and three children—be baptized in Lebanon and join a local faith community.
My life has been totally transformed. I have learned to stay focused on Christ, and to be very confident in the Word of God with all my life. And to be dependent on Him and Him alone. I can now tell the love of God and His salvation to lost souls. BRIGITTA, MIDDLE EAST

Hasan was affiliated with a terrorist organization in the Middle East when he saw an ad from a GMO ministry. It asked a simple question: Do you want to know God personally? Hasan had a simple answer: Yes. He clicked on the ad and connected with an Online Missionary named Mariam. Mariam and Hasan began to chat about life, faith, and God. Over the following months, Mariam shared the Gospel and answered Hasan’s questions about Christianity and theology. One night, while reading through the Gospel of John, Hasan felt what he described as electricity going through his body. For the first time, he thought, This might actually be true. Our Middle East and North Africa team is increasingly hearing miraculous stories of the Gospel spreading across the region. This is Hasan’s story. It’s a great example of disciples making disciples as Jesus transforms not only the lives of individuals but entire communities of people. A TESTIMONY FROM THE MIDDLE EAST
Soon after, Mariam prayed fervently for Jesus to come to Hasan in a dream and speak to him directly. That very night—without Hasan knowing about this petition—Jesus came to him in a dream. “Tell the woman you’ve been talking to that I appeared to you,” Jesus said. “You will be sharing my light with thousands of others like you.”
FOR THE FIRST TIME, HE THOUGHT, “THIS MIGHT ACTUALLY BE TRUE.”
After this, Hasan became involved in GMO’s secret church and discipleship meetings on Zoom. He accepted Christ as his Savior and became an Online Missionary himself. Since then, Hasan has shared the Gospel over 12,000 times with people of Muslim background as an Online Missionary at GMO.

ONGOING DISCIPLESHIP IN ASIA AND SOUTH AMERICA Volunteer Online Missionaries are the ministry’s hands and feet. Every day, people around the world reach out to Online Missionaries with pressing spiritual questions, stories of personal challenges, and deep concerns. Online Missionaries are people trained and ready to help others learn about Jesus, answer their spiritual questions, find hope in daily living, and grow in their faith. Every day, GMO shares the Gospel message about six times per second, paving the way for Online Missionaries to do the work of the Great Commission regardless of where they live.
DISCIPLESHIP IS A TWO-WAY STREET
It is a great privilege to be an Online Missionary, sharing the Gospel with lost souls, encouraging, counseling, praying for the seekers, and connecting them to healthy churches. I am grateful to GMO for providing this powerful tool to spread the Word of God in India, where persecution is high and freedom to share the Gospel is limited. BECOMING FAMILY IN CHRIST
Yipsi grew up in Venezuela with loving Christian parents. She attended church, but she had no connection to God. For years, she felt empty. Just as Yipsi committed herself to Jesus—and began to hunger for fellowship with Christ and other Christians—the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Churches closed and Yipsi felt isolated, alone in her newfound faith. Like many, she turned to the Internet to search for guidance and hope. She found El Camino Hacia Dios (The Path to God)—one of GMO’s online ministries—on Facebook. She reached out and began chatting with Pastor Reuben, one of our Online Missionaries. Reuben sent her daily devotionals and prayer, and they continued to talk as Yipsi grew in her faith. Ultimately, under Reuben’s guidance, she found her own church home.

RUNNING THE RACE IN EUROPE For several weeks, millions came together to watch one of the largest international sporting events in the world: the Olympics! We teamed up with Athletes in Action and the Jesus Film Project to share the testimonies of three elite athletes through online ads in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. TOUR STOP 4

WALT WILSON (FEBRUARY 22, 1938 — SEPTEMBER 17, 2024)
The spark that ignited Global Media Outreach was Walt Wilson’s passion for sharing the Gospel. Walt had a visionary approach to spreading the message of Christ, which first began to take shape during a brainstorming session at MIT. In 2004, Walt founded GMO to focus on using the Internet to invite people worldwide to know Jesus Christ and grow in a personal relationship with Him. In September 2024, after a long life dedicated to Christ, Walt went home to the Lord. As we celebrate 20 years of ministry at GMO, we also rejoice
in the assurance that Walt is now in the presence of the Lord. We can only imagine the beautiful reunion Walt experienced with countless souls who came to know Jesus through his vision and obedience. As a true pioneer of digital evangelism, Walt’s unwavering passion for sharing the Gospel is the foundation upon which GMO was built. It continues to be our guiding focus today. Walt’s impact on the kingdom of God is immeasurable, and his legacy will continue to live on through our work.

FINDING FREEDOM IN CHRIST STORY OF TRANSFORMATION
Maria grew up in Costa Rica. Her mother raised Maria in the same way she had been raised: with little affection and a lot of bullying. Maria felt alone and angry—angry at the God her mother claimed to follow. So she began to hurt herself, too, thinking that she must not deserve love but only suffering. But Maria hid her pain, keeping it to herself and believing she deserved to suffer. On the outside, she wore a mask around others—professing a faith she didn’t have and praying to a God she didn’t know.

Eventually, she reached a point where she simply didn’t want to live anymore. But by then, Maria was a mother herself, and she knew she had to make a change. She turned to the Internet and found Explore God, one of GMO’s online ministries. Eventually, she followed the site’s prompt to connect with a volunteer. Jan, one of our Online Missionaries, responded. Maria wrote back and shared some of her story.

From then on, Jan shared Scripture, Bible studies, and discipleship content every day. The two grew closer, and Maria and her daughter were recently baptized.
The information I got through Explore God was a game-changer for me, absolutely. I can now see my story not with resentment, not with pain, but with gratefulness—knowing that every single part of it had a purpose.
