MARCEL AMANCE BURGUNDY, FRANCE

LES PEYRAUTINS LANGUEDOC-ROUSSILLON, FRANCE

Premium wines from the heart of the revered Burgundy region.

Celebrating the diversity of the South of France.

The Marcel Amance Chateau belonged to the Maufoux family, an influential Burgundian family whose successive generations since 1860 have devoted themselves to the production of great wines. Taken over by the Piffaut family, who have been involved in Burgundy winegrowing since 1820, our Marcel Amance Burgundy wines are the testimony of this age-old family know-how. The emblematic grape varieties of the region are worked in the classic and delicate style that has characterized them since the beginning. The Chardonnay is characterised by its elegance, minerality and impressive aromatic depth. The Pinot Noir, dense and fresh, offers frank and expressive notes of blackcurrant while keeping a lot of delicacy.

Les Peyrautins is a range of wines from the South of France crafted according to France’s oldest traditions. The wines are created by a team of passionate winemakers using modern techniques coupled with traditional philosophies to craft the best of French wine. The result is a perfect combination of the new and old world, offering delightful wines that display all the qualities and traditional characters of each variety. These wines come from a land full of history in the Southern French Languedoc-Roussillon appellation, over four departments along the stunning Mediterranean coast. Here, the northern mountains of the Pyrénées and the Cévennes embrace the vineyards of the Pays d’Oc like an amphitheatre. This region benefits from the Mediterranean climate with its coastline bordering the region in the South, it provides hot and dry summers for a perfect maturity. On the other side, the Black Mountain brings enough humidity and cool temperatures for the vineyards to produce grapes packed with fruity aromas. The terroir effect is very noticeable in this region due to the great selection of winegrowing areas that create an expression of the grape varieties that is unique.
