Before/After Camp Child Care Register beginning April 7 June 9 – July 5 No child care June 19 and July 4. Child care is available for the entire camp season. Children are walked to their camp location in the morning and to child care in the afternoon. Pre-registration is required and should be done online by 4:30 PM the Wednesday prior. Visit BeachwoodRec.com to register beginning Monday, April 7, 2025. Child care is non-refundable. Special Requests: We would like to make your child’s stay with us at camp a pleasant experience. If your child requires special services or attention, please be sure to make a note on your registration form. Please note Beachwood camps do not adhere to Kosher dietary laws. Campers bring their own bagged lunch and beverage. Refrigeration is not available for lunches. Refund Policy: All city summer camp refund requests made prior to May 23, 2025, by 4:30 PM are subject to a 50% processing fee of the refund amount. No refunds after May 23.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR CAMP 3
The resident only registration period expired March 3, making camp available to both residents and non-residents. 1. Go to BeachwoodRec.com and select Online Registration or visit City Hall in-person. 2. You must have an online account already set up. If you do not, please call and we will set it up for you over the phone at 216-292-1970. 3. Residents must upload proof of residency within 30 days of registration. A video tutorial is available at BeachwoodRec.com.
TEEN TRAVEL Camp Entering grades 6-8
Join your friends for a summer camp just for teens! We offer an exciting summer full of adventure and a wide variety of trips. Weekly excursions may include: Swings N’ Things, WhirlyBall, Bowling, Hiking, Canoeing, Kayaking, Waldmeer, plus much more. Don’t miss the chance to hang out with your friends and visit cool places. Limited Enrollment: 50 per session Location: Beachwood High School Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 3:15 PM, June 9 - July 18 *No camp June 19 and July 4.

BEACHWOOD & SHAKER THEATER Camp Entering grades 3-9 Summer Theater Camp at its best! Theater Camp is a combination of dance, music, improvisation, scene work and musical theater. Participation will include a final showcase presentation at the end of five weeks. Our philosophy is that “Every camper gets their moment.” Campers will get to enjoy field trips, the Beachwood Family Aquatic Center and perform in front of a live audience. Limited Enrollment: 65 Location: Beachwood Middle School Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 3:30 PM, June 9 - July 11 *No camp June 19 and July 4.
