Brilliant, high-grade example, with near-perfect centering and stunningly rich color. A close inspection reveals a few very tiny, light fisheyes - one within the border of the Yankees logo, a light one in the O in “York,” some others in the black and white image of the Yankees’ Hall of Famer. These, along with a mild touch to the lower-right corner, likely keep the card from attaining a perfect GEM MINT grade, but hardly detract from its incredible eye appeal.

Gorgeous, near-perfect 1960 Topps Stan Musial, from one of the finest sets in the hobby, which is being broken up in this auction. Well-centered with nearly flawless printing, with corners and edges that appear fresh as new, the card is one of the sharpest we have handled from the issue. A wonderful representation of the Cardinals’ fan favorite.

Possibly the most highly sought- after modern sportscard from one of modern sports’ greatest legends, the 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan is indeed one of those hobby-defining cards. His career long over yet his legend still growing, a 1986 Jordan is far different from many of the other popular modern cards in that Jordan’s legacy is unlikely to be tarnished by scandal this late after the close of his career.
