Mohammed Ahmed Al-Shaabi graduated from the College of Engineering of Qatar University in 2011 as an operations engineer. He took up photography as a hobby and specializes in wildlife photography. “As we stay at home، my daughter asked us to visit her grandmother. It broke my heart to say no، for my daughter’s safety and for her grandmother. But still، my daughter stood by the door in her mask، ready to leave with her doll، longing to see her grandmother and not fully understanding why she could not. This pandemic is breaking family ties by depriving us of our loved ones، but we must stay strong.”
