Namsha Nasser Jarallah Al-Marri has 10 years of experience as an educator in Qatar. She began pursuing her passion as an artist to fulfil her desire to learn how to express her true feelings through colors، drawing and painting. “Behind this painting، there is a story of patience and suffering my family went through. One of my relatives was infected with COVID-19 and he received treatment for a whole month before he finally defeated the virus. This entire time، he was separated from his family – his wife، children and parents. He described the illness as a cruel prison cell keeping him apart from those he loves. His faith، he says، coupled with the excellent care he received from doctors as provided by the State of Qatar، got him through the ordeal. When he left his treatment facility، he raised his two fingers as a sign of victory. Recovery is a triumph that requires endurance and trust in Allah.”
