Every Steiger fuel tank is made of durable structural steel, unlike competitive offerings. This important design difference adds additional weight and strength to the Steiger chassis.
HEAVY-DUTY AXLES
Greater strength and durability are built into Case IH Steiger tractors. With 5.5-inch diameter axles and 18-bolt hubs, Steiger tractors feature unparalleled braking and hydraulic pressure for feel and modulation. Axles can carry up to 67,000 pounds of gross vehicle operating weight. These new heavier bar axles are standard on ag and scraper versions of the Steiger 595 and 645 tractor models.
