A century of Interlochen. A world of difference. From that first summer of 1928 to today, Interlochen has inspired and educated young artists and engaged audiences in the transformative power of the arts. Philanthropic support has been a through-line that helps turn our aspirations into reality.
This Annual Report of Gifts features how your gifts are moving us forward, including:
• gifts propelling us toward the day when we can say we meet the demonstrated need of each admitted applicant who applies for financial aid; • Annual Fund gifts that sustain our daily work and allow us to respond nimbly to emerging needs; • widespread support for the Imagine US tour; • funding that allowed dozens of students to work with Grammy-nominated alumna Yolanda Kondonassis (IAA 78-82) and acclaimed composer Reena Esmail to record Terra Infirma ; • visionary support from a record number of donors for the work at Interlochen Public Radio; • and the culmination of a three-year partnership with the Greenacres Foundation that led to the world premiere of Grounded at the RiverRun Film Festival. Our guiding priorities are to build upon a century of Excellence in arts education, to increase Access so that every admitted student has the chance to say “Yes!” to an offer of admission, and to Amplify the voice of IPR in our community and around the world. And everywhere we look on campus today, we can see how your gifts are uplifting our efforts. Thank you.
