ACCESS | Young Artist Destination
For nearly a century, Interlochen has offered access to life-changing arts education to students across the country and around the world. In one of the most ambitious efforts in its history, Interlochen commits to increase that access even more, by meeting the demonstrated financial need of every student admitted to Camp or Academy, allowing creative capacity alone—not financial capacity—to determine who studies here. Generous and visionary scholarship support is carrying this goal ever closer to reality. Below, you’ll see the list of new endowed and named annual scholarships. The full list of active scholarships follows features on a few of the donors who established scholarships this year.

Through New Endowment, Camp Parents Elevate Access for Budding Dancers
A couple who prefer to remain anonymous have long supported Interlochen Center for the Arts. Through two decades of philanthropy, they’ve championed Interlochen as a rich foundry of cultural vitality where superlative artistry and uncommon opportunities to grow in creativity and confidence have transformed the lives of young artists (and art-lovers of all ages). Now that they are parents of two Camp alumnae, these donors appreciate even more vividly the impact Interlochen can have on young lives—and they’ve made a gift to ensure such impact continues forever through the Rising Pines Endowed Scholarship in Dance . Their newly established endowed scholarship provides need-based financial aid for dancers whose exceptional talent and potential earn them a place at Interlochen Arts Academy. These donors cherish the unique capacity of dance as an art form to cultivate awareness, discipline, collaboration, and deep engagement—qualities that are essential both for artists and for leaders in any walk of life.
