Welcome Our New Administrators

HEATHER HAINES K-8 STEAM Coordinator Heather joined the ABRSD Teaching and Learning team twelve years ago and joined the leadership team in 2024 as the Elementary Curriculum Coordinator. In 2026, Heather transitioned to the role of K-8 STEM Coordinator. In this role, she provides leadership for the district’s STE and Math programs, partnering with educators to support high-quality curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning across grades K-8. Prior to her time in Acton-Boxborough, Heather taught math to students in kinder- garten through high school and served as a math interventionist, Data Coach, and STEAM Coach. DEANA LEW K-8 Humanities Coordinator Deana joined ABRSD as the K-8 Humanities Coordinator in July 2026. In this role, she provides leadership for the district’s English Language Arts and History and Social Science programs, partnering with educators to support high-quality curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning. Prior to this position, she worked as the Literacy Coordinator in the Newton Public Schools. Deana is passionate about helping all students become confident readers, writers, thinkers, and informed members of their communities. She believes that literacy and social studies empower students to empathize with others, appreciate diverse perspectives, and engage thought- fully with the world around them.

Christina holds an Education Specialist degree and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She is excited to join the Acton-Boxborough community and looks forward to building strong relationships while supporting inclusive, student- centered practices across the district. ASHLEY JAYNE Special Education Coordinator for Parker Damon Ashley Jayne joins the Parker Damon Administration team as the new Special Education coordinator. She brings 15 years of experience in education, serving students from early childhood through eighth grade. Her career includes 10 years as a classroom teacher in both elementary general education and special education, and five years as an assistant principal. Her professional experience spans four states: Georgia, Kansas, Texas, and Massachusetts. Ashley earned a B.S. from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in Edu- cational Leadership from Texas Christian University. Ashley is excited to return to the Acton-Boxborough community, where she attended school from kindergarten through 12th grade. She and her husband are proud to be raising their two elementary aged children in the community.

ALLISON LEAHY Assistant Director of Special Education As Assistant Director of Special Education, Allison supports the successful implemen- tation of the district’s special education programs by working closely with school administrators, educators, related service providers, and families. She provides leadership in program development, staff support, regulatory compliance, and collaborative problem-solving to ensure services are responsive to students’ indi- vidual needs. Through fostering strong partnerships, building staff capacity, and promoting continuous improvement, Allison helps strengthen inclusive practices and supports positive outcomes for all learners. MOLLY CARONE Assistant Principal for Parker Damon Lower Molly Carone joins Parker Damon Lower School as Assistant Principal for the

upcoming school year. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in education, including the past five years as an elemen- tary Assistant Principal in Belmont Public Schools. Before moving to Massachusetts, she spent 14 years in New York as both a classroom teacher and school adminis- trator. Molly holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Literacy and School Building Leadership. She lives with her doodle dog, Albie, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. CHRISTINA CHRISTIE Special Education Coordinator for the Boardwalk and Blanchard Schools Christina Christie brings more than 10 years of experience in special education.
