A NOTE FROM COLIN-
Welcome to our fourth fall female sale. Lot 1, Henke Hoss, in my opinion is the best bull we’ve ever raised. He is a special one with great potential to be a major bull in the future of the breed. Lots 2 and 3 are heifers you like on genotype, then you look at them in person and the phenotype is even better. Both of these heifers can be a leading donor for any producer in the country. Lot 4 is one of my favorite granddaughters of 0169. She is going to make some great herd bulls in the future. Lot 5 is a great mix of two of the greatest cow families in the Angus breed with the Barbaras and the Ericas. She is going to grow out to make a beautiful donor that will produce prolific daughters. The lot 6 heifer is the only direct daughter of 0169 in the sale. She’s a great prospect for the future out of the new and exciting Wilks Crick. Lots 7 and 8 are a complete set of flush sisters. Lot 7 is the kind of heifer that will create herd bulls for the future and will have some neat prospects. Lot 8 is a female maker who is going to make donors that will last in a herd for a long time. Lot 9 is an exciting donor prospect out of the new Wilks Warrior Bull at Grimmius Cattle Co. She has the potential to change a herd with her progeny. Lot 10 is only one of two heifers in the breed for her combination of Weaning Weight and $M. The lot 11 heifer is out of one of my favorite donors and in the Erica cow family she has a lot of potential to become a foundation donor. The bred heifers are an excellent set, mainly bred to Henke High Ground and Connealy Cornhusker. Some of my favorite bred heifers are lots 12,13, 21, 26, 35, 38, and 50. The open heifers are a complete set from top to bottom. The lot 66 heifer is a special one and all the proceeds from her will go to support the Benner family as 9 year old Aubrey battles Leukemia. Colin Henke
