THE K I N G ’ S BUS I NE S S gelic host, standing round about the elders and the four creatures. It will be of interest to remember that the Church is seated on the throne next to the enthroned Lamb (Rev. 4:4) where the word “ seats” is translated “ thrones” in the Revised Version. They rule and reign with Him. There is first the throne; next the thrones of the saints who represent all believers of the Old and New Dispensa tions, who have been lifted into the glory with Him; then around the thrones are the angels sayings—(not singing; redeemed Ones sing; angels proclaim) —- “ Amen; blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God forever and ever. Amen.” A seven-fold ascription of praise unto God forever and ever. See the distinction between the Church, the Tribulation Saints and the Angels. The saints are servants, serving day and night. They shall dwell under the canopy of Jehovah, as did Israel (Isa. 4:5, 6). “ And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for upon all the glory shall be a defence. And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.” (3) THE WONDERS OF HIS SAL VATION, vs. 16, 17. The tabernacle of God is with men in the eternal state (Rev. 21:3). As He overshadowed Israel with the cloud and fire, so here we have a picture of God’s sheltering grace. God will also wipe all tears from their eyes as He will from the eyes of the Church. The Lamb shall feed them. He is the Bread of Life. He is the Good Shepherd, and

Every denier of Jesus Christ as the Word made flesh; every denier of the Virgin Birth and of the Blood Atone ment, whether he be a preacher in an [ evangelical church, or a- professor in an evangelical college or school; every leader and follower of the many dan gerous cults,— is anti-Christian and be longs to those specified by John in his epistles. The Church and schools are full of them, and the foreign mission field is honeycombed with them. The same spirit now so manifest will, un der the leadership of Satan, be headed up in the federation which may bring the wretched days of sorrow and suffer ing called “ The Great Tribulation” . (2) THE WITNESS OF THE SAINTS, vs. 13-15. These martyred ones are not saved by reason of the shedding of their blood in loyalty to Jesus Christ, but their loyalty to Jesus Christ was due to their faith in His shed blood— the blood of the Lamb. Men were not saved in the Great War because they “ went over the top” no more than were men lost be cause they did not go over the top. Men can only be saved through the effi cacy of' the blood atonement of Jesus Christ, and this lesson affords a splen did opportunity for every teacher to im press this fact upon the hearts of their scholars. They stand before the throne, and the Lamb,— clothed in white, and with palms in their hands. Palms are, of course, the symbol of victory, and vic torious in faith, their voices are raised in praise to God and the Lamb, for sal vation was by and through Him. They are the only ones spoken of in the Book of Revelation as having palms,— a blessed, joyful, rejoicing multitude, giving all honor to Him. Then there is another group,— the an
