Jurisdiction, P.H.A. ,” and the name and title of the Most Eminent Grand Commandery, Knights Templar of the State of New York, was changed to: “The Most Eminent Prince Hall Grand Commandery, Knights Templar of the State of New York.” Since Miriam Royal Court was established the following Courts were established by the Most Royal Prince Hall Grand Court, Order of Cyrene of the State of New York; Magdalene Royal Court No. 12 in Mount Vernon, N.Y., St. Mary’s Royal Court No. 13, in New Yo rk City, Galilee Royal Court No. 14, in Albany, N.Y., Bathsheba Royal Court No. 15 in Hempstead, N.Y., Faith Royal Court No. 16 in New Haven Connecticut, Mary Magdalene Royal Court No. 17 in Hartford, Connecticut, Emanuel Royal Court No. 18 in Buffalo, N.Y., Crown of Thorns Royal Court No. 19 in Manhattan and The Unbroken Circle Royal Court No. 20 in Watertown, N.Y. On May 31, 1948, the Prince Hall Grand Commandery, Knights Templar for the Jurisdiction of New York, Most Eminent Clarence A. Miller, Grand Commander at the time presiding, officially adopted the Most Royal Prince Hall Grand Court, Order of Cyrene for the State of New York as its Auxiliary. In 1995, the 77 th year of the existence of the Most Royal Prince Hall Grand Court, Order of Cyrene of the State of New York, during the administration of Most Royal Grand Commandress, Royal Lady, Bobbie O’Garro and Most Royal Grand Chief Engineer, Sir Percy Perdue the three Cyrene Courts in the State of Connecticut who at the time were under the jurisdiction of the Most Royal Prince Hall Grand Court, Order of Cyrene of the State of New York, Miriam Royal Court No. 11 in Bridgeport, Faith Royal Court 16 in New Haven and Mary Magdalene Royal Court No. 17 in Hartford surrendered their warrants and requested to be established as a Grand Court, Order of Cyrene for the State of Connecticut. With the permission of the Most Eminent Prince Hall Grand Commandery, Knights Templar of the State of New York, Most Eminent, Sir Ludwick Hall at the time presiding as Most Eminent Grand Commander, Most Royal Grand Chief Engineer, Sir Percy Perdue, the Most Royal Grand Commandress R.L. Bobbie O’Garro and the Officers and Members of The Most Royal Prince Hall Grand Court, of the State of New York, assisted in establishing the Most Royal Prince Hall Grand Court, Order of Cyrene for the State of Connecticut. Royal Lady, Anne M. Bolden was elected its first Most Royal Grand Commandress and Sir William Randolph, its first Most Royal Grand Chief Engineer. With the establishment of the Most Royal Grand Court of the Jurisdiction of Connecticut, all of the Cyrene Courts that had been established by the Most Royal Grand Court Order of Cyrene of the State of New York outside of its geographical area had surrendered their charters to become member Courts of Cyrene Grand Courts, or Guilds of the Grand Guilds of the Heroines of the Templar Crusaders in their respective States. In the year 2013, after over 132 years of its existence as a Cyrene Court, and 95 years as a member Court in the Jurisdiction of New York, unable to conform to the minimum Constitutional requirements of the Most Royal Prince Hall Grand Court, Order of Cyrene of the State of New York, the members of Helping Hand Royal Court No. 1, under the then Royal Commandress, Royal Lady Nora Washington, surrendered its Charter to the Most Royal Prince Hall Grand Court, Order of Cyrene of the State of New York. The Heroines of the Templar Crusaders is an organization similar to the Order of Cyrene, and it is open to membership of the female relatives of members of the Knights Templar in their respective States. It was started in St. Louis, Missouri in 1917, and has a parallel development with the Order of Cyrene. The local organizations are known as Guilds, and the Statewide organizations are known as Grand Guilds. In some states in the Prince Hall Sodality, it is the Female Auxiliary of the Knights Templar, whereas in other States like New York, the Order of Cyrene is the Female Auxiliary of the Knights Templar
