Welcome to the second - quarter edition of our Shoo Fee Ma Fee newsletter!
I have been reflecting on the things I am personally most grateful for this last quarter. Primarily among those is the talented group of employees that we have here with us. Thank you for all the hard work you have done for our complex and unforgettable experiences you continue to deliver to our guests! It has been an eventful quarter indeed where we kicked off with the Easter egg - painting competition, launching new learning and development programs, Golden Circle Awareness Week, Global Wellness Day and WAVE Day, where we recognized the achievements, awards and certifications received by our colleagues and celebrated their birthdays. We also observed the holy month of Ramadan where we united in breaking fast at the annual colleague ’ s grand iftar, showing our selflessness is a true essence of our culture here at Shangri - La. Now, for the coming months ahead, let us again focus on delivering excellent guest experiences and memorable stays at Shangri - La. As the summer season will last until September, let ’ s be continue to be collaborative and flexible in maximising our productivity and profitability. Let us not get exhausted from the heat, but rather use its energy to keep us warm and attract new guests.I recognize, and I am proud of each and every one of you and the hard work you continue to put into our business day in and day out. These combined team efforts are what have allowed us to be separate ourselves from the competition, be successful and lead the market, because of that, I would like to THANK YOU for everything you do to make this a terrific place to work.
