52nd NSRA Street Rod Nationals East
T he 52nd Street Rod Nationals East was held June 5-7 at the York Expo Center in York, Pennsylvania, and it was packed with an enthusiastic group of participants, spectators and exhibitors ready to enjoy three days of rodding fun. Since visiting registration is the first stop for everyone, on hand were Lesa Seibel, Yvonne Davis, Diane Miller, Anne Davis, Linda Kuhne and Explore York to make the process quick. Explore York also supported the Parade and was on hand with a free BBQ dinner Friday evening as the “Bootleg Band” entertained. “Flamin’ Dick and the Hot Rods” took over the mic on Saturday evening. The Hanover Street Rod Association Host Club set up Games while Patti and Jim Knaack and their helpers hosted 304 ladies at the Ladies Tea sponsored by Sanderson Headers, Scooter Time Rentals and Yogis. Joe Troilo coordinated the “Manufacturers Picks” and Howard Kelly packed vendors into the Swap Meet while Melissa Bowlin coordinated Women’s World. The fifth Builders’ Showcase featured 16 builds from professional shops throughout the east and Wet Dreams & Restorations was
