The East featured an impromptu gathering of
Speedstar rods, and we took the opportunity to shoot their meet up featuring (L-R) Glenn Taylor’s Pennsylvania-based ’33 Ford Speedstar coupe, Mike Briglia’s Connecticut- based ’33 Speedstar Vickie, and Keith Hagendorn’s ’33 Ford roadster from New Jersey.
Watson’s StreetWorks sponsors the “Fantastic Flames” Streets
of Rods, and they loved John McIntyre’s sweet ’55 Chevy BelAir Gasser with a 301/5-speed Tremec powertrain, 15-inch chrome Cragar wheels, DuPont flames, and a Westminster, MA, parking place.
We are huge fans of Howard Smith’s ’67 GMC pickup from Etters, PA, that is painted Cessna Green, runs RamJet 350 crate power, 17-inch Artillery wheels from Wheelsmith, and won a well-deserved “Pros’ Pick” from Alumicraft Street Rod Grilles.
