QUALITY & ACCREDITATIONS
Stoddart has a Quality Management System in accordance with AS/ NZS 9001: accredited in Feb 2019 by Global Mark. The Stoddart Management System (SMS) integrates Quality, OHS and Environmental standards. The SMS is integrated with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems, which electronically administers and records all processes. The SMS uses Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions and Forms conveyed through the company Intranet in addition to Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, testing reports & inspection check sheets that are all provided for specific projects as the need / contractual requirements dictate. Process inspection sheets & job travellers are also regularly provided for all major project works. Stoddart operations utilise standardised processes and procedures to ensure consistent, reliable and quality outputs. Stoddart maintains its competitive advantage through innovation and continuous improvement using “Lean Principles”.
Employees are trained in “Lean Methodologies” and are empowered by using Kaizen philosophies to put forward ideas for continuous improvement of working practices and personal efficiency. Stoddart maintains formal, robust, cross functional continuous improvement and 5S programmes involving all departments within the business. Stoddart maintains a Customer focus as per the company’s values to ensure product realisation meets the Customer’s requirement’s and product compliance. Stoddart are currently audited by Global Mark for both ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, as well as Standards Australia (SAI Global) & Watermark. Stoddart strive to achieve the highest quality finished products and utilise the best quality assurance processes to aid them in achieving their goal.
