The school serves more than 530 students during the school day, and neighbourhood families after hours. The new playground is to feature barrier-free surfacing, inclusive swings, sensory play panels, climbers and slides for varied abilities, shaded seating, and calmer ‘quiet-zone’ nooks to support neurodiverse learners. With a target completion date of December 2027, it will be open to the community after school, on weekends, and in summer. To show your support for the project to be chosen for funding, find the link to vote for it on the Mountsfield Home and School Association Facebook page.
