Year 6 PGL at Osmington Bay, Dorset

n Glorious sunshine greeted theYear 6 boys as they arrived in Dorset for a week at PGL, Osmington Bay. First stopwas theBovingtonTankMuseum where the pupils participated in a D-Day workshop and learned how you get a tank to float. Once at PGL, the boys were able to participate in adventurous activities such as climbing, abseiling, archery, survival skills, orienteering and the giant swing. These activities pushed some of the boys out of their comfort zones, but all were proud of the efforts they made to complete the challenges. In addition, they spent time rock pooling and looking at coastal processes, as well as taking a trip to look at the geographical features at Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. It was a hugely successful week for all involved.
